Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) was born in the famous city of India, Hoshyar Pur. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) got his early education from his father Hazrat Muhammad Murad Ali Khan (Rahmatullah Alayh). After that his father (Rahmatullah Alayh) admitted him in the school. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) was settled in Pakistan along with his father (Rahmatullah Alayh) long before the partition of subcontinent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After settling in Pakistan, he (Rahmatullah Alayh) completed his education then got admission in Tibiyah College Lahore, where he (Rahmatullah Alayh) learned Hikmat (native medicine education). After that he (Rahmatullah Alayh) did complete course of homeopathic and then started practice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) has two way linkage of spiritual chain; one from his father hazrat Muhammad Murad Ali Khan (Rahmatullah Alayh) and other from his maternal grandfather Hazrat Pir Bakhsh (Rahmatullah Alayh).

Hazrat Muhammad Murad Ali Khan (Rahmatullah Alayh) in his last time, laid him (Rahmatullah Alayh) on his chest and put his respected tongue in his (Rahmatullah Alayh) mouth which enlightened his inside and revealed all the aspects and secrets of Tasawuf (Islamic spiritualism) and he (Rahmatullah Alayh) became his Khalifa Azam (main successor).

The maternal grandfather of Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh), Hazrat Pir Bakhsh (Rahmatullah Alayh) was a famous Sufi (saint). Apart from human to be among his Murids (spiritual students), many demons were also included. During the last visit of Hazrat Pir Bakhsh (Rahmatullah Alayh) to Pakistan from Hoshyar Por India, he (Rahmatullah Alayh) transferred all his spiritual knowledge to Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) and also gave him its Ijazat (permission).

He (Rahmatullah Alayh) used to say that it must be remembered very well that enmity and leg-pulling within us can’t result good consequences and this is not a good thing to let the evil devil make a laugh on us. The fruit reaped by the blessing of unity cannot be compared to the dissension.

Many Karamats (unusual happenings/incidents) are reported to him. We will discuss only few of them to avoid unnecessary length.

One of his Mureed Khadija bibi (late) reported that once his daughter came to his parents’ home i.e. in her home Chak # 199 with her children. At that time she had three children. Her youngest daughter was ill and it was attributed to some evil shadow on her. However her youngest daughter couldn’t be able to get rid of it and died when she came here. The house members had just came after her burial that they saw her brother with his hands and feet twisting and froth was coming out of his mouth. Seeing this Khadija Bibi (late) became seriously worried and decided to take him to his Murshid (spiritual mentor) Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh).

Thus late Khadija Bibi along with her husband went for Sadiq Abad with the child. Bus station was 1.5 miles away from the village. When they reached the bus station they saw the child quiet and not in his senses. An army camp was also nearby the bus station. Some soldiers came from there and laid the child on the charpoy. After examining, the soldiers told that the child has passed and closed his eyes which were opened that time and said to take him back home. But she insisted to her husband to take the child to his spiritual mentor. Thus after deciding, they rode on a bus for Sadiq Abad.

Here Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) had gone to Chak # 173 to meet on of his Mureed along with his sister who was also his Mureed (spiritual student). He (Rahmatullah Alayh) has just entered the house that he (Rahmatullah Alayh) said to them that I have to go now. If anyone has a conveyance then immediately make me reach to the Sadiq Abad. One man had a motorcycle. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) even agreed to go on it and said to his sister to come back Sadiq Abad by bus. And she travelled to Sadiq Abad on bus.

When his sister reached at bus station for his way to Sadiq Abad, she rode on the same bus as Khadija Bibi along with her husband and child. His sister asked Khadija Bibi (late) that who this is on the seat covered with a cloth. Then she (late) lifted the cover and described the entire incident to his sister. Then her sister remembered perhaps that’s why Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) had gone back.

Together these three along with the child reached the Sadiq Abad and met Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh). Seeing Khadija bibi (late) he (Rahmatullah Alayh) said so it was you calling for me.

Khadija Bibi (late) said that my daughter had come to met me, first her daughter passed away and now her son. O please! You request mercy from Almighty Allah for us. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) said to lay the child on the charpoy. After laying the child on the charpoy he (Rahmatullah Alayh) went to the roof of the house and said not to ask for him no matter if one or even four day has passed but only if the child asks for him. Saying this he (Rahmatullah Alayh) went to meditate and the house members came down to the child.

Almost twelve hours later! The child woke up to sit and said where the saint of lightening is? At that time the child neither asked for his parents nor for anyone else. The child was seven or eight years of his age at that time and he used to say Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) the saint of lightening. Listening to the voice of the child, all the house members rush to the roof in haste and informed him (Rahmatullah Alayh) all about this. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) immediately raised his hands in thanks for Almighty Allah. After this he (Rahmatullah Alayh) came to the ground floor and said to the late Khadija Bibi to stay for one more day and then to take him with her. After one day the child became quite well and then his parents took him back to the home with them. By the grace of Almighty Allah this child is now a young man with wife and children.

As it is already mentioned that from his maternal grandfather, he (Rahmatullah Alayh) also received ‘Ilm e Taskheer e Jinnat’(the knowledge to make the demons assailable). I would like to mention one incident regarding this. A lady had some evil shadow on her and he used to have fits occasionally. Her family was pretty much worried about it. They had tried both medical and spiritual treatment but in vain, rather her condition was worsening day by day.

After trying many so called spiritualists (by the word so called it means the fraudulent and the fake one) they came to meet him (Rahmatullah Alayh) and described their story. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) gave them some green cardamom after reciting on them and said to put these cardamoms under her pillow and to eat one of its daily for 21 days but during this she is not allowed to come out of her room.

After eating one or two cardamom the lady came out of her room without the notice of her family. When it came to the notice of her family they took her back to her room and what they saw was that the cardamoms were absent and a letter and money was present instead. It was written in the latter that we are taking the cardamoms and this is their price. They described the whole incident to the Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh). He (Rahmatullah Alayh) made the demons appear with his Kashaf (unveiling) instantaneously, rebuked them and asked why they had taken those cardamoms. They replied that they had taken these cardamoms in roguery as the lady had gone out of her room. At this, Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh) ordered them to go back and put the cardamoms back to its place. The demons replied that as the lady had gone back to his room now so they cannot enter her room. On that he (Rahmatullah Alayh) ordered them to put the cardamoms on the wall of the house.

When their family went back to their home they saw that similar cardamoms on the wall of their house. They took those cardamoms and kept these under the pillow of the lady as ordered by Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh). After a few days the lady recovered and succeeded in getting rid of that horrible illness by the virtue of the Karamat of Hazrat Muhammad Muzaffar Ali Khan Arif (Rahmatullah Alayh).

During the last years of his life, he (Rahmatullah Alayh) was attacked by paralysis which suffered his ability to talk. He (Rahmatullah Alayh) spent almost whole three years in this condition and then suddenly was attacked by high fever after which he (Rahmatullah Alayh) was admitted to the hospital. After spending two days, it was the thirds’ day i.e. Saturdays’ morning of September 10, 1994 AD or Rabi us Sani 4, 1415 AH that he (Rahmatullah Alayh) said farewell to this unreliable world. Inna Lilla Hi Wa Inna Illaihi Rajioon (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return). May Allah shower his blessings upon him. Amen.

He (Rahmatullah Alayh) was buried in Sadiq Abad, Rahim Yar Khan District, Pakistan, close to his spiritual mentor and respected father Hazrat Muhammad Murad Ali Khan (Rahmatullah Alayh).
